About the event
Bike Lane Uprising started after our founder, Christina Whitehouse, was almost ran over by a driver of a commercial beer truck. So, in celebration of our mobile app release, we're also releasing a Bike Lane Uprising® beer at Haymarket (site of the Haymarket Riot). We'll be tapping the first ever keg of Bike Lane Uprising® beer on 10/29 at 6pm sharp. Our beer should remain on tap at Haymarket for about a week (or until gone). ***Please note, you must promise not to block bike lanes in order to purchase this beer. Yes, seriously.
To help fundraise to support our work, we will be hosting a pop up merch shop next door in the Haymarket outdoor oasis. Costumes are highly encouraged - we might even have a Timbuk2 pannier to give to the person with the best costume. So swing by, have a socially distanced Bike Lane Uprising® beer outdoors…
